Why Are You NOT Feeding Raw Goat’s Milk?!

Raw goat’s milk is the next big thing in the pet health world.  Many veterinarians and experts in pet health have been recommending goat’s milk as a cure for some of our pet’s ailments.

The consumption of goat’s milk to treat and cure illnesses and diseases dates back to 2000 BC.  Goat’s milk has been known to treat those with diarrhea, malnutrition, constipation, poor digestion, diabetes, obesity, allergies, inflammation, just to name a few!  And the best part?  It’s safe, natural and beyond healthy for our pets, too!

Raw goat’s milk does not go through the process of pasteurization, like cow’s milk.  This leaves the important enzymes, proteins, electrolytes, bacteria, vitamins and nutrients that would normally be destroyed when pasteurized.  And because goat’s milk is one of the easiest foods to digest with digestion complete in just 20 minutes, our pets can reap the benefits immediately.

Added vitamins and nutrients aren’t the only things goat’s milk does better.  It’s also packed with probiotics and prebiotics for optimum digestion health.  Probiotics are a source of good bacteria that live inside of ours and our pet’s guts.  They help protect our bodies from the harmful bacteria.  Prebiotics act as food for the probiotics and can also be found in bananas, honey and cinnamon.  Both are excellent for a pet’s stomach issues such as constipation, diarrhea and vomiting.

Cats or dogs that suffer from food and/or environmental allergies can greatly benefit from the natural anti-histamine and anti-inflammatory properties of raw goat’s milk.  Packed with bacteria and probiotics, goat’s milk can help slow the growth of yeast in our dogs’ systems that cause skin and ear infections.

Even if your pet (cat or dog) is an all-around healthy animal, adding raw goat’s milk to their diet can provide them with the protection, nutrients and support their bodies need to keep them stronger and healthier, inside and out!
